January 2005 - Hospitality Assured Recognition
Just when we thought that things couldn’t get any better we were awarded Hospitality Assured in January. Being a Hospitality Assured accredited organisation demonstrates a commitment to service and business excellence and the ability to exceed the expectations of existing and potential customers. Developed by the HCIMA and promoted in partnership with the British Hospitality Association, the Hospitality Assured award was developed to provide a national standard in service excellence.
This accreditation will allow the Cluny Bank Hotel & Restaurant to use the Hospitality Assured brand, and puts its service on a par with leading hotels and restaurants throughout the country. These businesses include Skibo Castle, Boath House and Glenfiddich distilleries.

November 2004 - Northern Lights Customer Service Award
In November of last year we had the pleasure of being nominated for the Northern Lights Customer Service Award in association with Aberdeen and Grampian Tourist Board. The awards ceremony was held at the Marcliffe at Pitfoddels in Aberdeen and in all honesty it was a thoroughly nerve wracking but extremely enjoyable experience. As we sat through the list of nominees the tension mounted and with such stiff competition I must admit that our confidence wavered slightly. When Cluny Bank Hotel was announced as the winner we were ecstatic to say the least! We were presented with a wonderful vase and a certificate, which now have pride of place in the hotel. We would like to express our appreciation to all who voted for us and give a heartfelt thanks to all of the staff in the hotel and restaurant, without whom none of this would have been possible.
